Based in Bath, Lionhouse is a vibrant brand communications agency with an enviable portfolio of clients and a reputation for delivering highly impactful work across a range of disciplines. Due to increasing demands from both existing and new clients we’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Account Manager to join us.

 

Job Purpose

The role extends across a number of our key clients in sectors as diverse as fashion, food and b2b. You will manage and be responsible for the key operational aspects of your accounts and for delivering 100% client satisfaction.

Working directly alongside a talented and friendly team of creatives, designers, developers and writers you’ll be the main interface between the agency and your clients. You should be able to turn your hand to most things and be equally as comfortable with managing client briefs as you are with reporting and checking copy.  Most importantly, you’ll share an infectious enthusiasm for your work – a central component of the culture of Lionhouse.

 

Key Responsibilities

For our clients (80% of time):
•    To build and maintain superb client relationships and the first point of contact for our key clients
•    Understand the client’s business, their sector, their competitors and their strategic journey
•    Interpret, clarify and brief-in client tasks
•    Coordinate the agency’s resources to ensure client deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded
•    Day to day budget management, ensuring activity is kept on track and within client budgets
•    Manage client projects to drive profitability
•    Proactively identify new opportunities for the agency to grow it’s offering within each client
•    Produce reports from a variety of sources, providing analysis and recommendations in relation to campaign performance across a number of key marketing metrics
•    Check and proof read all materials before they go to the client
•    Maintain and update knowledge of all aspects of marketing – including social media, creative innovation and research and analysis tools

For Lionhouse (20% of time):
•    As part of the team, proactively look for opportunities and provide ideas to grow accounts and win new business
•    Ensure every opportunity is taken to promote Lionhouse’s client work where appropriate
•    Support Lionhouse social media activity and update our website as appropriate
•    Contribute to the Lionhouse blog and promote it across a variety of appropriate channels

 

Person specification

The Successful Applicant:
•    Will have had at least 4 years experience working in an advertising, marketing, design or digital agency with a sound knowledge of both online and offline marketing channels
•    Will have managed client projects across a range of disciplines including advertising, design, digital and social
•    Will have excellent campaign management and analysis skills
•    Will be a self-starter, have an inquisitive mind and be an agile thinker
•    Will be able to manage the budget and resourcing against each client
•    Has an appreciation of data legislation and compliance requirements and is able to provide guidance to clients
•    Feel as comfortable dealing with the post as presenting to senior clients
•    Is able to review, interpret and translate Google Analytics into insightful and practical recommendations or solutions for clients
•    Is familiar with WordPress content management system, a real bonus would be to have experience of a marketing automation tool
•    Will be lively, engaging and a great team player
