             'the choice is extensive'

Timber
We make most of our furniture in oak or cherry.  As you would expect, our timber is solid, well seasoned and from manageable sources.

Size
Throughout our range you will notice a variety of standard sizes.  If you cannot see the size you require then we can offer you a bespoke service whereby you can choose your own size.  this may be helpful for example if you are trying to fit furniture along a wall, into an alcove or get the optimum seating on a dinning table.  Whatever the reason, please feel free to ask for the size you want and we will do our best to accommodate you.

As well as our standard finishes and colours we offer a bespoke matching service.  This can be useful when trying to blend in a piece from Lion House with existing furniture, old or new, or if you simply just can't see the colour you like.  If you supply us with a colour sample (a drawer, door, or chair is the most popular) then we will do our best to achieve as near a match as possible.

Generally, our finishes are aged to give them an 'antique' look.  We call this 'distressing'.  The choices available are:

· No distressing
· Moderate distressing (standard)
· Additional distressing.

Important:  Polishing solid natural timber is not an exact science and variations may occur.  The examples shown are to be used as a guide only.  There is no substitute for seeing our finish in reality.  It is significantly better than can be represented on a computer monitor.

We are committed to fulfilling your every requirement however large or small.  Purchasing furniture from Lion House is an important decision and we appreciate that this should not be taken lightly, especially when the results are going to be with you for your lifetime and for future generations to enjoy.
